Discovering this product made me a huge fan of COSRX!  It immediately replaced by beloved CeraVe cleanser.  I’ve been using this product consistently for a year now, and it never disappoints!  Gentle on skin, cleanses without a trace, and best of all, the right pH to keep your skin healthy.  Oh, and guess what?  It’s great for all times of the day – not just the morning!

Review: Missha Near Skin Inner Moist Moisturize Emulsion – and a little lesson on why solid carrier oils may be bad for your skin!

Oh, Missha.  How could you do my skin so much wrong?  I had so much optimism for this product!  Even though I knew of the possibility that it would break me out, I still thought that I should give Missha’s Near Skin Inner Moist Moisturize Emulsion a chance because of all the amazing skin-repairing ingredients in it.  Unfortunately, it did break me out.  Horribly.  And has confirmed to me that I am indeed extremely sensitive to a certain type of carrier oils (and I’m sure I’m not the only one).  But for other people this might be their holy grail moisturizer.

Acne, Rosacea, and Enlarged Pores, OH MY! How I Learned to Nurture My Skin to Eliminate Acne and Sensitivity

As I already talked about in my little “About Me” blurb, I’ve been waging war against hormonal cystic acne since I was 14.  I say “waging war” because over the years, I’ve treated my skin like a battlefield, using stronger and stronger medication or anti-acne treatments that would work for a little while, but then end up in super sensitive or dull skin.  When it came to skincare in the past, there was never any real “aha” moment where the products felt just right for my skin.  I was Goldilocks – If one product wasn’t strong enough, I’d end up with cystic acne.  And if a product was too strong, my rosacea would flare up.  After almost 20 years of searching, I finally reached an “aha” moment and figured out that my previous approach to my skin was all wrong and finally found a system that feels just right for my skin.
